Andrew Robinson
SSRP Student
Andrew is a 1st year medical student at the Island Medical Program in Victoria, BC. He previously completed his undergraduate degree in Microbiology at the University of Victoria. He joined the laboratory in the summer of 2021 to study the function of the transient receptor potential (TRP) channel in modulating airway responses to diesel exhaust and allergens.
Andrew is interested in Internal Medicine and hopes that his work this summer will provide him with experiences relating to his future career aspirations. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys skiing, running, and sailing around Vancouver Island.
